I’m a born and bred Nashvillian and visual artist who uses film and photography to create unique content that showcases the world around me and tells stories that may otherwise go unheard. I have no method to my madness and just let life steer my creativity. My motto has always been to “create how you feel.”
My work has been featured in many film festivals including the International Black Film Festival (IBFF) in Nashville, TN, the BronzeLens Film Festival in Atlanta, GA, and the Social Impact Media Awards (SIMA) international film competition. I have also exhibited photo and video art in the Frist Art Museum and the Nashville Parthenon, with my most recent film project People, Places, Things being a part of the Parthenon’s 2022 Echo Chamber Music Series. This unique film was created while being the 2020 Artist in Residence with the Audio Visual Heritage Center and Metro Archives and showcases archival and present day footage of Nashville accompanied by a soundtrack performed by the INTERSECTION music company.
Alongside creating and inspiring the world with her art, I have a deep passion for igniting youth creativity and serve as a teaching artist with many community organizations around Nashville. I currently serve as the Resident Artist and Film Coordinator for Corner to Corner’s Script to Screen youth filmmaking workshop here in Nashville.
